Health Tips for Jumping Rope Exercise

HealthNFitness Tips: Jumping rope is no longer just for 6-year-old girls. It's a great way to exercise your heart, and it can improve eye-hand-foot coordination.

The suggestions for jump ropers who are just starting out:
  • Keep a light grip on the handles.
  • Hold your elbows close to your body and keep your shoulders relaxed.
  • Keep your knees slightly bent.
  • Use your wrist to turn the rope and create a smooth arc in the rope as it swings over your head.
  • Maintain good posture with your head up and back straight.
  • Don't jump too high. This will help reduce impact on knees and ankles.

Safety Rules to take bath in the Pool

Some Precautions & Persist number of safety rules:

  • Make sure a fence completely surrounds a permanent pool, and that the gate is always locked when the pool isn't being used.
  • Never let anyone swim alone, unattended, even for a few seconds.
  • Children 4 years or older should take swimming lessons.
  • Make sure all toys are kept away from the pool when no one is swimming.
  • Completely drain inflatable pools after they are used.
  • Don't allow any electrical appliances, tricycles or other riding toys near the pool.
  • Never allow diving in a pool that isn't deep enough.
  • Don't allow children to run on a pool deck.
